: a framed colour drawing on paper, showing: the statue of Edward Colston, on its decorative plinth, which was situated on Colston Avenue, Bristol, from 1895 until 2020; the columned Catholic church of St Mary-on-the-Quay is seen to the left, and just beyond the tree and benches is the Art Deco inspired building originally known as Northcliffe House, once the offices of the Bristol Evening World newspaper, and now known as Colston 33; this work is part of the Bristol, Past and Present series commissioned by Bristol Museum & Art Gallery between 1972 and 1974 - for the other 4 works, see K4406, K4407, K4408 & K4409
