: Earthenware mug. The mug is round and straight sided. The mug has a white ground and is painted in coloured glazes to depict the Peace of Amiens. In the centre there is a stone pedestal with 'Peace of Europe signed at Paris, May 30, 1814'. There are leaf sprigs in reef shapes above this and they surround the letters 'GR'. Either side of the pedestal is a draped female figure. On the right side behind the figure there is a British flag and on the left there is a French flag. Both the female figures hold a bunch of flowers (likely to be the countries national flowers- Roses for the UK and Iris's for France)
