: Tin-glazed earthenware colander bowl. It is a hemispherical bowl on a deep, narrow foot ring. It has a fixed deep concave top pierced with a central hole and three rings of holes. It has a trapezoid slot inside. It is painted in blue on a pale bluish glaze. On the exterior there are two Chinese men standing in a garden with fences, plants, rocks, a man fishing from a small boat and petalled detailing around the hole. At the top of the colander there is a rim border of a double-diaper trellis with reserves containing a half flower head; three circles of hatched triangles below rows of holes and a petal surround to the centre hole.
