: Tin-glazed earthenware dish. It is Britton shape I. It is painted in blue, red and green on a white glaze with a pinkish tinge on the back and green cast under the flange. There are two flowering tree sprouts from a winged hollow rock and an insect.There is an inner border of Chinese-type scrolls outside a double blue line and a flange border of fifteen serpentine blue and green leaf motifs embellished with scrolls between. On the underrim there are markings: ' // o // o // ' and three stilt marks. The rim is pierced with two holes for hanging [not aligned with design].
