: Tin-glazed earthenware wide shallow bowl with round sides that slope under to a tall foot ring. It is painted in blue, red, green, manganese and yellow on a pale bluish glaze and has a brown rim edge. The interior of the bowl is painted in blue and depicts a rosette inside a circle with dots and has a border of hatched triangles and curled scrolls. On the exterior of the bowl there is a large peony flower with spreading foliage and buds; a smaller flowering stem and a flying insect.
