: Porcelain teapot and cover.The teapot has a round body, which tapers in to a tall neck. It has a stright spout and a lid with a wide lip and a round knop.The teapot sits on a foot ring. It has an early replacement wicker-bound metal handle. It is painted in coloured enamels of red, orange, blue, green, yellow and purple and depicts Chinese motifs. On the body of the teapot there are scenes that are divided by a painted scalloped edge and straight lines. On the left side there are some painted vases with flowers on a table. On the right side there is an animal figure with gilded lines. Similar scenes are mirrored on the lid of the teapot. There is a repeated pattern of floral motifs around the neck of the teapot and the lid. There is a red painted flower on the knop.
