: 'London' shape with pyramidal finial. Commemorating the death of Princess Charlotte in 1817. Printed in black with same pattern on both sides: an obelisk-topped square monument inscribed within an oval 'TO THE MEMORY//OF//PRINCESS CHARLOTTE'; cherub bearing cross on left, grieving Britannia on right, globe and cornucopia in foreground, twocherubs in sky. Pink lustre bands on rim, above base and outlining spout; leaf-and-dot band around top, leaf bands on spout sides and handle.
