Cross of copper from a german shell, made and worn as a mascot by a Belgian soldier in the war. 1917 Small crucifx cut from copper sheet, with short arms. Engraved down the cross, 17 ARRAS, with the first A of Arras in WAR engraved across the arms. Small rounded shape on top, pierced for suspension, with length of linen tape.
