Description: Percussion shotgun by J. Hooke, York. Octagonal to round barrel with under-rib (loose) holding 2 ramrod pipes. Constructed with a false breech. Engraved barrel tang. Barrel secured to the stock by 1barrel slide with white metal side-plates. Wooden ramrod with brass tip. Walnut half stock with chequered wrist, engraved iron furniture comprising; butt plate, trigger guard and forward ramrod pipe. White metal escutcheon. Flat engraved percussion lock- unsigned. Secured to the stock by 1 sidenail.
