Landscape views of countryside, street scene postcard, young soldiers (one of Joseph Stephens captioned Just Out!), cantonment football field and Methodist Church Page 3: Rawalpindi in Punjab (other captions very faded) young soldiers on horseback and smoking narghila Page 4: Mhow - soldiers swimming, in a group with chaiwallah (tea servant) Page 5: Soldiers swimming at Patalpani and group photograph (on reverse Qualifying Course 192/46, names of soldiers including Lance Corporal Stephens) Page 6-7: Rawalpindi - general views including street scenes with traffic control, fruitwallah, church (Scot's Kirk) and a selection of recreational photographs Page 8-11: Corner of one photograph marked 'Kohat June 46'.
