: Images of troops and landscapes in the North West Frontier region of India and modern day Pakistan, including: Kalabagh, Baluchistan, Rurki, Peshawar, Bazar Valley, Attock, Waziristan and Dungagali. Also images from Egypt and Shoeburyness, Essex. Some of these images are group photographs of military men, including: No. 3 and No. 4 Mountain Battery and 48th Heavy Battery Royal Garrison Artillery. There are photographs of the Phipps family, including Edmund and Henry Phipps, some apparently taken in England and some in Zermatt in Switzerland. Also contains a number of programmes and menu cards for events and concerts relating to the military and two newspaper cuttings: one relating to the funeral of Colonel Coldicott and the other to admissions to the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich. Also contains sketches of the Bazar Valley, Charterhouse, Harlech and Chalfont St Giles.
