: Eric B. Wright album 2

: 1905

: This portion of an album mainly contains photographs from the Seychelles, taken during Eric Blackwood Wright's stint as Lord Chief Justice 1905-1909. There is a large group photograph taken at Villa France in June 1905, possibly at an official engagement hosted by the Governor. Other images feature the Harbour area, turtles, uncaptioned groups of friends and local landscapes. The final picture in the album is of Boxmoor House in Hertfordshire, home of Lady Alicia Blackwood, EBW's grandmother and godmother. A larger number of photos from EBW's tenure in the Seychelles can be found at 2000/084/2/1/2.

: 1 volume

: File

: 10 album pages together with endpages and one half of the leather bound backing, obviously the remnant of a much larger album. Around half of the pages have photographs glued to them; most are not captioned.
