: This series contains 18 postcards of the Seychelles from the late Edwardian period, during and immediately after E.B. Wright's employment as Chief Justice. All are from the studios of the photographer S. S. Ohashi. 12 of the postcards are tinted in colour, and feature landmarks including the Court Building, Victoria Street, Government House, Botanical Gardens and Harbour, and the Rochon River. These are all blank. Additionally, there are 6 b/w postcards featuring images including the RC Church, Coconut Oil Mill, Carnegie Library and New Government House. All but one of these have been written on, and sent to EBW at his next posting in Trinidad from a mixture of correspondents, some writing in English and some in French.
