: Several letters from friends and family including: - Letter from his Gran about her diamond wedding celebration. - Letters from Basil, one from Jerusalem where he was based, 23/9/46. - Letter from his mother on his birthday, 23/1/47. - Letter from Philip Marsden dated 28/1/47, who was the author of 'Kashmir Calls', and subject of Stephens' letter dated 20/7/46 - Letter from J Hodson, training at Wireless College Colwyn Bay, dated 18/2/47. - Letter from Sergeant D Smith, dated 3/6/47, refers to arranging a reunion of 'the gang'. Methodism of great importance, and 'It must be appalling out in India to see so much Christian works to be done and so little apparently already done...wonder what will happen when we leave India.'
