: c. 1888 - c. 1896
: The photographs in this album mainly depict members of the Brodribb and Pughe families and members of their social circle in the last decade of the C19th. The family of Rev Thomas and Ellen Pughe are shown at the Indooroopilly home believed to have been lived in by them between 1888 and 1891, and on outings to beach and countryside locations in Queensland. There are also a number of formal portraits including several wedding portraits featuring family members, and photographs of work underway at the Brodribbs' pastoral station Kurrowah. The captions have been added by family members in relatively recent years, and are in many cases incorrect. Although there are no actual copies, many of the people and places photographed are also depicted in 2002/169/1/1.
: 1 volume
: 1 hardbacked cloth-bound volume with 36 pages, most of which have photographs glued to them. The volume is in very poor condition and the binding, which appears to have once been tied through the pages, has collapsed. It appears to have suffered water damage at some point, as some of the pages are stained and carry a black residue. All of the pages are very brittle and show significant foxing.
