: Watercolour of the lower register of the astronomical ceiling of Pharaoh Sety I's burial chamber. Yellow images on a black background, the original on a curved ceiling. Left to right are figures, with their names alongside them in hieroglyphs; Serqet (a female figure shown horizontally, she is a scorpion goddess associated with fertility); a 'Divine Lion who is between them' (a lion with stars on its back); 'The Gatherer' (a human figure with a crocodile); Meskhetyu (The Great Bear / Plough); Anu (a falcon headed man holding a stick or spear), and a standing hippopotamus('The mother is fierce'). Astronomical ceiling decoration allowed the ba of Sety I to fly up into the sky. Hornung Room K
