: An anthropomorphic mummification board. The background colour is yellow with painted decoration, there are large painted beaded collars on the neck and chest, including a scarab below the wig and above the arms. The arms are crossed and the hands are raised. The beard is missing, although there is a hole for it in the chin. Evidence (provided by Kara Conney, UCLA)suggests that this is a Ramesside coffin board, recycled in the Third Intermediate Period. It is full and arched, in keeping with a 20th Dynasty date. The iconography on the mummy board is much later than the style of construction.
