New china from China was a one-day symposium on contemporary glass and ceramics in China that took place on the 17th of April 2015 at The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery, Stoke-on-Trent. The symposium brought together curators, artists, researchers and students from both China and the United Kingdom to critically examine recent developments in contemporary Chinese craft and further the discussion started by the Ahead of the Curve: new china from China exhibition.
