Children’s toys endure for a long time. The marbles were played with over 4,600 years ago, the pull-along horse is about 2,000 years old, but similar toys could be bought today. Images of Egyptian children at play are rare, but there are paintings on tomb walls that show girls playing ball games almost 4,000 years ago.
