: A view of the village of Henbury (then in Gloucestershire) from above Passage Road with the Severn Estuary and Welsh hills in the distance showing, from left to right, Castle Hill, The Great House Avenue, the old Manor House, near the site of Blaise Castle House (Museum), the parish church of St Mary's, the Charity School (rebuilt in 1830), Henbury Awdelett known as Henbury Manor, built by John Sampson before 1688, and the Great House extensively altered by Sir Simon Harcourt in 1708 and demolished in the early 19th century.
