: flower pot

: Earthenware flower pot. The pot is cylindrical and tapers out towards the rim. It has a white ground and a printed design of the 'Peace of Paris'. In the centre is a stone pedestal with the words 'Peace of Europe Signed at Paris May 30, 1814'. Above the pedestal 'GR' is printed in the centre of some foliage in a reef shape. There are 2 female figures with flags either side of the pedestal, both the figures are robed. On the right side it is the British flag and the female figure holds roses. It is likely the left figure depicts France and holds an Iris. In the background there are some industrial buildings. There is a brown line around the rim of the pot, around the base and around two circles on the either side of the pot (handles?).
