: Creamish-white body; very slight blue tinge to glaze. Broad waist, tapering gently to top and bottom which are inset, with flattish rims; ten ridges on both tapers (including top and bottom edges); circular bung hole with raised sides on centre band. Painted in coloured enamels - orange-red, pink, blue, yellow, green, purple, brown, black: on centre band two different flower sprays, one with pink rose, chrysanthemum,'Fifield' tulip,etc, the other with pink rose, pink honeysuckle, etc. Brown lines painted between ridges, bung-hole surround brown; on each end, agreen and blue sprig. Inscribed around bung-hole: 'J.B' and 'BRISTOL // POTTERY // 1801'.
