: Earthenware mug. The mug is straight sided and cylindrical. It has a white ground and a printed design. It is over painted with the scene of 'Peace of Amiens'. In the centre is a stone pedestal with the words 'Peace signed at Amiens between England France Spain and Holland, March 27 1802' At the base of the pedestal 'Bristol Pottery' is printed and above the pedestal 'GR' is printed in the centre of some foliage in a reef shape. There are 2 female figures with flags either side of the pedestal, both the figures are robed. In the background there are some ships. There is a brown line around the rim of the mug and around the base.
