: Swahili textile from ?Tanzania/Tanganyika, a Kanga or Kanika Rectangular cotton cloth printed in black, orange and turquoise on a white ground with a panel side by side. In the centre of the panels are paisley shaped motifs in orange and turquoise on a background of black with white spots. The following words are printed - "NIMEAKHERISHA NENO LANGU KUMFIKIRIA MPENZI WANGU". Modern abstract design, c.1950s.
