: Hooded jacket made of hide. This is possibly a child's coat. The leather is decorated with lines of stitching, four up and over the hood and two on each sleeve. There are also several patches sewn into the coat, possibly to replace areas cut out of the skin such as a flipper. There is a narrow band of leather sewn round the base of the coat for decoration. Two slashes on either side at the neck front have been roughly sewn together (one side seems to have been repaired with black cotton on the inner side).
