The lengthy title reads, "Souvenir, Royal visit to Bristol, His Majesty King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, July 9th 1908, at Avonmouth to open Royal Edward Dock". At centre is the King & Queen; other personalities depicted are the Lord and Lady Mayores and individuals connected with the docks and ceremony. Set of men's hair (beard) clippers in original card box. Steel clippers with a 'No. 124/0000' marked on the inside left handle and 'Alaska Germany' marked on the inside of the right handle. Blade still contains hair. Box is made from card- cream with blue writing. Text reads, 'A clipper by Burman' on the top and has illustrations of the clipper around the sides of the box. Inside the lid there are instructions for use in numerous languages. Written in pencil on one side is '£1,694.75'. On another side in biro is '9/6'. '331-0000' is printed on the same side.
