Hood to be worn with academic gown. The hood is of nonsuch red (official name) poult silk with a cream silk taffeta lining. Is is of a very capacious style and is cut to incorporate an extra squared back panel which hangs under the hood. The whole drapes around the neck with a small straight band visible at the front.

Pair of black glace leather shoes for wear with shoe buckles, made completely of black leather including the soles, lining and stacked heel. The shoes have a round toe and instead of the facings having laceholes the two pieces overlap and have small holes in them by which they were originally sewn together, allowing the buckle to clip behind and over the top. Behind this the ramp continues up in one piece and forms a tongue. Inside the sock is of natural coloured leather and has the maker's name and address printed in gold.

Tussah silk dress (See also belt TB15.2) 3/4 in length. Print involves a dark blue background covered in pink, purple and green flowers and stems. It is unlined and has 3/4 length sleves with small cuffs. There is a v neck at the front and fabric loop holes at the side to hold the belt in place. There is a 130mm wide panel that runs parallel to the waist seam (like a waist band that only travels to the side seams). The dress is fastened with 3 poppers under the left arm. Here the dress has possibly been altered (there seems to be more material on the left side than the right inorder for the dress to close). There are 6 pleats at the front of the skirt and 2 seams at the back. In the upper part of the dress there are two darts at the back from the waist to the shoulder blades and 4 pleats at colar height (at the front) to give the dress shape around the neckline. At the centre front below the v neckline the fabric from the right side of the dress crosses over the left beofre merging into the waistband panel. It has no labels.
