Evening vanity case or bag, 1920s. Octagonal black plastic (probably Trolite, a form of cellulose acetate) with paste diamond inserts, black silk cord and tassels. The case opens by the use of a release knob on the top. There is a hinged joint at the base and the whole opens so that two halves lie flat. Inside one is a small mirror and the other has a small receptacle for face powder complete with powder puff. Made in France.

Toy model aeroplane, replica of Vickers Viking, manufactured by Meccano Ltd in early 1940s. The plane is diecast in two pieces of white metal and painted silver. It has two engines each with moveable four blade propellers originally painted red. In black on the wings are the letters 'G-A GOL'. On the underside of the wings is moulded the manuafacturers name: 'DINKY TOYS, VIKING, MADE IN ENGLAND BY MECCANO LTD'
