Four darts on the bodice and two deep frills on the skirt. iv) Pair of long white cotton drawers with lace decoration.

Box contains little brush head, cotton wool, broken glass saucer with 'Baily 1786' written on the bottom, paint brush, pencil, chalk, card, twenty-eight paint blocks or partial blocks, a mahogany panel with two tapered corners and a vile. Vile has red substance in it, a cork stopper and a label saying 'Newman's Photographic Comexion, 4. 24 Soho Square London'.

At the top right corner, within the shape of a heart, is an image of the same woman holding the hand of her beloved soldier. The words "Post Card" are printed in a fancy Art Nouveau style on the reverse. Postally unused.
