Oval gilt metal badge of the Bristol Caledonian Society with central shield, enamelled bearing Bristol arms and border inscription, 'A man`s a man for a` that'. Badge decorated with eight amethyst-like glass 'stones' and thistle design. Suspended from navy blue silk band. Contained in grey rectangular box lined with ivory silk and grey velvet.

Childs green / mint satin dress with blouse. Cream lace trimming, on lower bodice and sleeves. Cream lining to bodice, Cream silk and lace under blouse with satin bias binding around neck. Waist ribbon with satin buttons (appears to be too big for the dress).

'Proper Lessons'. Miniature book, leather bound with gilt edged pages. Three bookmarks inserted: two small (similar to postage stamp) cards, one with sacrament, ears of corn and bunches of grapes, inscription 'Au divin Bauquet ne in oubliez pas.' The other has a crucifix and a dove, with inscription 'A ses pieds je priepour vous.' The third is a piece of paper with 'Miss Dickson' on the outside, contains several pressed flowers. Has a tiny signature inside 'May 19. 1879. Hurer (?)'

White card covered with layers of gold, white and silver paper lace - gold leaves and foliage with 2 sprigs of red flowers on the outisde with inscription at the top; within this a silver and white semi-circular design and within this a small circular picture of pink and white flowers and blue forget-me-nots. Opens up to show a hand-written message in ink. 'Feb. 14th 1865. Sweetest Love. I'll not forget thee. Time shall only teach my heart. Fonder, warmer, to regret thee. Lovely, gently, as thou art. Forget thee not while the sky. Spans it's secret vault on high. To dearest love never doubt me. Fondly ever do I love thee. I remain. Yours. Dear Valentine.'
