Chocolate box, small, oval-shaped box with white papered sides. The lid bears a printed multicolour picture of a woman's head. She wears a large red hat decorated with feathers, yellow ribbon and flowers; a red choker and a red dress with a white neckpiece. She is holding a flower to her heart. Flowers and sky in the background. 1877 is written inside. The inside lid is decorated with a red-printed label reading, "TEN EXHIBITION PRIZE MEDALS, CHOCOLATE BONBON. J.S. FRY AND SONS. BRISTOL AND LONDON. MANUFACTURERS OF THE CELEBRATED CARACUS COCOA." There is a central picture of cocoa pickers. It is presented in a gold-painted display box with two other boxes.

The lid has been papered over with a colour print picture of a woman with her hair plaited over her head, and a rose. Seated with her elbows on a book and her hands by her cheek. Striped curtain in the background. Decorative red printed label inside the lid with a picture of native cocoa pickers reads, "TEN EXHIBITION PRIZE MEDALS, CHOCOLATE BONBONS, J.S. FRY AND SONS, MANUFACTURERS OF THE CELEBRATED CARACUS COCOA." The box is presented in a gold-painted display box with two other boxes.
