Lady's dress in light wool crepe, eau de nil colour. Notch neck with decorative machine embroidered flowers on either side, with cut out petal sections backed with beige net. Concealed side zip fastening and two popper fasteners at the back of the neck. Mid calf length, gently flared skirt, belt loops at waist (belt missing). Elbow length sleeves. Label reads 'The ideal model'. Matching jacket (TB365.2) 1940s.

Lady's jacket in light wool crepe, eau de nil colour. Single breasted, fastens with two silver metal buttons. Angled darts at waist. Two front patch pockets with flaps featuring machine embroidered flowers. Unlined but button and hole fastening edges reinforced with a hessian fabric. Full length sleeves. Label inside reads 'The Ideal Model'. Matching dress (TB365.1). 1940's.

Cream lace and tulle blouse. Double layer of lace and tulle at yolk and on sleeves. High necked reinforced with whale bone. Long sleeved. Fastens at back with 9 hook and eye fastenings and cotton tape tie. (It would presumably be worn under a short sleeved jacket.)
