Livery coat. Cream coloured wuth red facings. Red lining, but not on the sleeves. Padded shoulders and front down to waist seam. Narrow back, shoulders are quite set in. High shoulder seam. Functioning rear pocket. Collar hook for hanging (which is unusual). Button makers' name is on the back of the buttons; 'W.Jones'. Birmingham is mentioned on some of the buttons, '236 Regent Street' on others.

The lid is printed in black with a drawing of cocoa pods and royal insignia with, "FRY'S COCOA, PRIZE 300 MEDALS. BRISTOL, LONDON, SYDNEY." The lid has a large paper label inside, red and a blue, white border with "FRY'S HOMEOPATHIC COCOA. J.S. FRY AND SONS LTD MAKERS OF THE PURE CONCENTRATED COCOA."
