Inside front cover is a picture of a girl with flowers and dormant lamb. On inside back cover in circular frame a poem 'To My Sister'. On reverse large pull-out spray of forget-me-nots.

Cream coloured card. Flaps open in centre, each decorated with spray of Margueritas. Opens out to show woman in white with eyes upturned, rainbow in background. On each side, verse re: New Year. Margueritas on back. Gilded edges.

Birthday card (two halves are detached). First card, one side snowy winter scene with gold edged tablet in the centre with a birthday message. Inscription in ink at bottom right hand corner. On reverse a spray of white flowers with green foliage framing a verse by H.M. Burnside. Second card, one side has final verse of poem by H.M. Burnside framed by white flowers and green foliage. On the reverse is a winter scene with snowy path and tree with birthday message at the base.
