Long evening dress in silver brocaded organza / tissue. Dress is sleeveless, with round neckline at front and low square neck at back. The armholes, the neck and belt are trimmed with applique trimming of silver sequins and silver braid: The shaped belt has a flower shaped silver decoration at the centre front belt fastening. The bodice and skirt are both lined with pale grey nylon taffeta. The bottom of the skirt i.e. Reinforced with 270 mm's of fabric stiffener around the skirt. The front tissue skirt is cut in the form of a coat over-skirt; the back is simply cut with two flared panels. Some of the silver brocade threads on the dress bodice front are working loose - probably through wear. Dress fastenings: 32cm zip in back centre bodice and skirt, 2 hooks and eyes fastening back neck strap.
