: Britton shape H with sloped flange. Greyish glaze on a buff body. Painted in manganese-purple: in centre a flower vase, waisted and filled-in with triple-diaper trellis; it contains a central flower and three berry stems with two pointed leaves; two trefoil leaves above vase rim; two flowering stems from base of vase; all filled with close straight-line hatching; on well side, a band of scrolls; on flange, a narrow border of four-line diaper trellis inside a plain rim band (bubbled). Three stilt marks under flange.
