: Tin-glazed earthenware plate. '1607 'is scratched through the glaze under base. The plate is Britton shape C. It is painted in blue, red, green and manganese-purple on an off-white glaze.There is a building on right with two green vertical stripes, two trees with manganese sponged foliage (one behind the other on left); and a smaller bush at the bottom centre. On the outer edge of the flange there are three concentric blue circles chequered with red blocks. Under the rim there are three stilt marks.
