Plate from a service

Plantation owners in the Caribbean islands lived in comfort in the 'Great House'. Many of the furnishings and household wares were bought from Britain. Pinney ordered an elegant dinner service for the dining room at his Nevis home. It may have been like this fashionable Chinese porcelain tableware that he used in his house in Bristol.
