: Painting depicting part of the southern panel of the west wall, Upper Temple of the Jaguars, Chichen Itza, Mexico. Tracing inked over in red then watercolour paint. Detail from centre bottom of wall: the Sun Disc, warrior wearing green feather headdress and holding weapons within rayed circle, shown on top of a standard in the camp. Partial figures of warriors dance around the Sun Disc. Officer (Warrior A in Ringle) sits at the base of the standard: he has a red aura, yellow flames, blue cap and green feathered serpent protecting him.
