: Soldiers visit a Burmese village British and Indian soldiers visit a Burmese village. Possibly a mix of British Army and Military Police officers, the men were involved in a campaign to suppress Burmese rebels in Wuntho State (Sagaing Division). A local man works a wooden lathe, whilst others sit inside carts pulled by bullocks. Youngma, Burma (Myanmar), 1891. Caption reads: 'Village of Youngma. No.448'
