Object Name: armlet

Description: Armlet or cuff, made using repousee process, which would have been worn by a chief or a trader who was also a chief. There are three hammered similar designs of a human figure around the sides representing a standing man, wearing a brimmed hat, boots a sword, possibly a flintlock gun at his waist. He stands against a stippled background, with two vertical posts separating him from vine-like patterns at each side.
