Rosa has fought to secure funding and create ways of supporting women since forming the Bristol and Avon Chinese Women’s Group in 1989. She promotes the city through her roles as deputy lieutenant and member of the police and crime panel. Despite the struggles of being a single mother, several bouts of pneumonia and a brain haemorrhage, she continues to champion the welfare of the Chinese community.
