'From the first day of the first lockdown last March I did a silk painting each day for 100 days. On the second day I painted my second one and then quilted the silk painting from the first day. So each day from then on I was painting a silk and quilting the one from the day before. During the November lockdown I edged each of the squares in white silk. Then from December until towards the end of February I hand sewed it all together. It is in the shape of a house overall. Although I am fairly experienced in silk painting I have never quilted them before, and I have never put anything together like this before.'
