Shouldered jar on ogee flared foot, heavy-moulded everted collar rim, two leaf-moulded horizontal handles band of moulded flutes above foot. Flat cover with four loxenge-shaped groups of piercings and moulded mushroom knop. Decorated in underglaze blue with heavy gilding. Collar, neck, fluting, foot and cover all solid blue outlined with gilt lines; handles and knop with gilt detailing; on shoulder, a band of blue lappets; curved 'label' with shell and scrolls bearing legend 'LEECHES'.
