: T section steel blade with reverse curve, single edge blade, some decoration on top of the t section. The hilt is of possible ivory (walrus) (Persian, Shirmani) which is riveted onto the tang. The tang is gilded with gold flowers and a small loop at the end. The scabbard is of leather with a cober or bronze mount which was probably originally gilded. Function: the Pesh-Kabz is intended for forcing an opening in mail.
