Description: a colour drawing on paper, showing: a view from Prince's Buildings, Clifton, looking across the Avon Gorge; a ship mast can be seen; on the Somerset side of the Avon, there is a building with a smoking chimney (created by scratching out the pigment - this is Wellington Cottage, not far from the Rownham Ferry, which has yet to have the Bristol to Portishead railway line built right in front of it; this helps date the work to after 1842 and before 1866
