Object Name: milk jug

Description: Earthenware milk jug. It is baluster shaped at flares at the top into the shaped rim; it has an entwined moulded handle with flower-and-leaf terminals. It is painted in onglaze enamels - red, purple green and black and below the lip is a large flower spray with purple rose, between two 2-flowered sprigs and two single purple sprigs. The handle terminals are detailed in green and purple.
