: Glass rolling pin made from dark bottle glass. Inscribed in the centre: 'MARIA & ANN.PEARSON // APRIL 6TH 1848'. The rolling pin is almost cylindrical and is nipped in at the ends with cushion knobs at each end. It has a scratched design lengthwise depicting a paddle steamer under the Sunderland bridge as well as a house, birds and plants.
