Cobalt-blue glass bowl

This blue-glass bowl dates from the 1800s. The gilt decoration has a classical theme: it consists of a central band of four horse-drawn chariots alternating with two classical soldiers, each carrying two spears and a shield. Above and below this band is a band of geese, each band facing a different direction. The provenance of this piece is unknown.
