Painted in underglaze blue and onglaze coloured enamels and gilding: radiating bands of Kakiemon-style flowers and leaves, alternating with blue-ground bands with circular red/white 'mon' and rich gilt foliage; in centre, a blue-bordered circle enclosing a flower spray; gilt rim.
